Nunawading Birds & Pets

I attend this pet shop with my fiancé and was absolutely devastated with the whole experience. We found a Gelah that we both liked and were told a lot of lies about his age and price! It was closing time so I explained I’ll organise a cage and I’ll call tomorrow to pick him up. I called the store after I found a cage and was told someone came in and bought him 10 minutes ago. Ok I was very pissed of I asked who bought him he lied said a random person of the street. The next day I called the store again and was told that the original owner bought the bird back and that if I wanted it the price was $ 500 now originally told price was $ 375. Anyway I glad I didn’t buy anything from this shop they don’t have the birds in clean and sanitary cages and the place stunk. I would not recommend this business to your worst enemy

There are only so many times I can drive past a pet shop without going in. Firstly, to see what they have, and secondly, to see whether I should hate them for selling pets.
Nunawading Birds and Pets have a huge huge range of Birds. I’m terrified of birds. To add to that, they seem to know I’m terrified of them and they go out of their way to spook me. Walking past the cages they flew at me, glaring at me with their little evil eyes. It was like something out of a Hitchcock movie.
Okay, so maybe I’m blowing this out of proportion, but it’s not my cup of tea. If you like birds, you’d probably love this place.
