Darkzone is a place where you can shoot other people, and get away with it — you are divided into teams, given a laser gun each and are sent out to «battle». Darkzone is multi-​floored and there are plenty of obstacles to hide behind, so you can engage in some sniper or ambush activity.
The beauty about Darkzone is that it fulfills the human desire to conquer others, while in a safe environment. The lasers can do no damage [other than to your ego] and after a few hours, you can leave the place and talk about the great moves you made [or could have made].
The only issue with Darkzone is that the lasers are not particularly sensitive, so sometimes it won’t register a hit, even if the gun is centimetres from your opponent. If you are the opponent, it is useful. If you are the shooter, it can be frustrating.
Darkzone is a fun way to spend a day and to indulge in a grown-​up version of «it».

I went to this joint with my cousins one time and it was full on war. The setup was amazing. Nooks and crannies and crevices and the game was just so full on. We were divided in to two opposing teams, given guns and were let run wild in this monster of a playground.
The music was intense, it was dark and I was a little bit scared. At one point, I think I even peed my pants a little. But it was so much fun and it was relatively inexpensive. Whereas a lot of these places are catered to younger people this one was perfect for a group of 12 – 25 year olds who just spent the afternoon shooting each other for fun.
Perfectly normal, right?
