Round one: mojitos. Some delay in making it. Tasted like ginger ale with mint garnish. Though it was ready more than 15 minutes after order in an empty bar, drinks left on counter. Not even motioned to pick it up. If you take an absurd amount of time to complete an order, particular when you have food service and adequate staffing, it seems like an alert is appropriate. Sweet potato chips kinda crap. Burnt a bit and sauce tasted like it was manufactured in an idea plant years ago. If your staff need to run to the shops at 5:30 in Thursday for ingredients, there’s a problem. Round two: cosmos tastes like it had most of the ingredients, though low quality and ice didn’t seem to have been involved. Is there no fridge? Took a long time and again, left on counter. Round three: melon something or other. Took money and disappeared. Other customer waiting to order. No one at the bar. When bartender who from order returned, she started completing someone else’s order. Drinks contained both ice and alcohol.

So came here not for bowling but for a good and strong night of Karaōke. And I have to admit that if you are a karaōke enthusiast, then Strike has the best karaōke in town. Not only can you play bowling, but sing you lungs out — with a full bar to help you out. There is also laser tag for those who are inclined for that. The staff here are extremely friendly, and willing to assist the demanding people asking for them to constantly change the volume of the music. Sure we sounded awful, but hey, this is karaōke.

We organised a laser tag party for a bunch of 10 year olds and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Booked online, a few phone calls and emails sealed the deal. Food was great, and staff were fully engaged, fun and friendly the entire party — everyone had a great time.
