Unpleasant experience. I went there with my wife for breakfast. We ordered Benedict. The sauce was not fresh and tasted terrible. We asked for changing the order but they refused. Poor kitchen! Don’t order anything except the pastries which they bring from ‘Patisserie New York Cakes’. And their coffee is average. :-(

This is a delightful little place in the centre. It has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The coffee is good, not great but certainly consistent. The cakes are the usual fair, again ok but nothing out of the box. The snacks are better, most are made to order and are well presented and tasty. I had an open sandwich with avocado and smoked salmon and my wife, scrambled eggs with sour dough toast. Both were lovely and very reasonably priced. This place is well worth coming to if you want a quiet lunch away from the throng in the food court.

I’m not a huge Emporium fan, but this place takes the cake(gross tasting cake) on what I don’t like about CEs all over Sydney. A quick recount of the essentials: Coffee: it’s average at best. It’s about a fraction better than Coffee club Coffee Ambience: it’s a great looking place. Gets real quiet and dark and nice. It’s also nice and clean. Staff: the staff is incredibly nice and efficient. Food: the food is not even arguably the worst part of the deal. Whether sweet or savory, give it a miss and you will not regret it.

Best coffee in Macquarie Park. They do a great bacon and egg roll too(ask for no aioli!!) :)

Friendly staff that know your name and ask how you’re going. The best coffee in the centre, but also the most expensive. Definitely worth the step up though. They have some good platters on offer and if you’re into something a little stronger for your coffee palette then I suggest the Café Fredo, a take on the popular iced coffee following the American tradition. I’m a definite regular

Great atmosphere, nice smell of cinnamon, pleasant music, nice décor, free WiFi, and I am sure you could find a power point in here for a bit of #powerwhoring… but… unless you like strong industrial flavoured coffee, you’ll like be somewhat disappointed. I think the coffee was well made, the service was great, but unless your willing to sacrifice good coffee for everything else, you might need to keep walking.
