This store does not have the range of a massive Bunnings or Masters, but it does have service, knowledgeable staff and a great range of products.
This is my local hardware store, and for one or two items, I will come here before going to one of the big box places. On my most recent visit, I received advice on how to go about my project (stripping paint form door furniture) in an alternative way, and suggestions about who may be able to provide plating services and lock parts.
With a history as a sawmill (the last operating hardwood mill in the metropolitan area according to them), this show stocks a selection of lumber that honours it’s pedigree. If they don’t have it in stock, they will order it in. But they probably have it.
It can be a little difficult to get a specific make or model of some products as the range is not as great as with mega box shop, but these guys have everything you need.
Great range of plants and vegies for the outdoors-​inclined.

This place has the tradition feel of the local hardware store as opposed to the big box competitors. Great service and knowledgeable staff who show genuine interest in the project your working on
