A very simple looking place that doesn’t present high hopes initially, but tuck into the hand made gyoza and you know you’re onto a good thing. Lovely balance of flavour in the gyoza and perfectly cooked. Not too heavily fried and lovely and light. We had a karaage miso ramen which was also delicious. The chicken was like no other karaage we’ve had and again delicious. Black sesame ramen was also top notch.
Service was extremely quick and efficient. Quick refills of water, food presented quickly and at perfect temperature.
We’ll be back! And that’s saying something given the many options on king street.

Was about time there was a ramen joint on King St. I really had high hopes for this place, thinking I finally had a local ramen spot but don’t think I’ll be coming back here for a while.
Its not BAD or HORRIBLE, just a bit ‘Standard’. I got the Miso ramen with Chasshu. First off, the service was extremely slow… Took about 20−30mins to get our food. And the food wasnt all that great but it ‘did the job’, didnt blow me away. The broth was pretty bland and the pork had a weird smell about it. Also it took them about 20mins to serve an extra bowl of noodles. NOT an actual dish, just the refill noodles. So by the time it came out my partners broth was cold and he wasnt even hungry. Bit dissapointed in this place, i would still go there but am not jumping at the chance if you know what I mean…
