Maxmix Home & Gifts

This is a big home and gift store, and quite a surprise to find in a relatively small centre out at Newton — it’s more something I’d expect to find in a Westfield where it would see considerably more traffic.
There’s a huge range of product in here, I’m pretty confident you could pick up a gift of some sort for nearly anyone inside. The nice thing? They’ve set a really good standard with the quality, too — I do love my bargain stores but Maxmix has really good stock, which I find a must when I’m buying for someone else.
Staff are friendly, and really know what’s in the store — they’re also good at helping you find the right ‘something’ when you haven’t a clue what to get for someone — that’s sort of part psychologist, part profiler :)
Maxmix is up at the Woolies end of the centre — well worth a visit.
