Four Elms

This is a new café and a welcomed addition to the Melbourne Road Newport strip.
It has fast become a favourite amongst locals and we managed to get one of the last tables on a Sunday morning. Maybe we’ll book next time.
We sat inside and while there are tables outside, the main road traffic is too noisy for me. There is also window service to the street for those wanting take away.
Arriving at 11am, we were able to choose from the ‘all day breakfast’ as well as the lunch menu. The food here is innovative and very tasty, although a tad on the pricey side given the size of the servings.
On this occasion we chose Forrest Mushrooms and a Vegan Salad. Both were very tasty indeed.
I had water and my partner a juice as we found the coffee on our last visit (long black) to be watery and tasteless.
If the coffee was better I would give this place 5 stars, however the good and service save this place.
We will be back again and will book on the weekend.
