Have you ever been to Cupcake Heaven? If not, just proceed to My Little Cupcake. The cupcakes are visually gorgeous, but even better, they are DELICIOUS! The decorating of them is pure art and make a lovely gift. The added bonus is the fun, unique giftware that rounds out this shop. The items sold here are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Top quality is the name of the game in this beautiful spot.

Freshly made lamingtons and cupcakes at a venue only 3 minutes from my apartment? Nice… I can head there in the morning and pick up a few baked goods to surprise the wife before she wakes up. Nothing like an easy way to get some points.

I’ll keep this equation short and sweet. 1 x Sponge that gives the mouth feel of eating clouds. Not ordinary clouds, the fluffy cumulonimbus clouds, the God clouds that you see on sunset flights. Soft isn’t the word for it. + 1 x Topping of vanilla butter cream that tastes like fairies with huge biceps have whipped to the ultimate viscosity and then licked it delicately on to each individual cupcake themselves. = My Little Cupcake A friend once said that he’d been there at the end of the day once and was rewarded with several discounted cupcakes. I have been several times in the hope that I too will be a chosen one but alas not yet. My chaffing thighs are a sign of my persistence though. I live in hope.

I noticed this little cup cake shop on a bike ride one day. There are no other shops around it so it’s a special trip or an accidental bump into if you visit this quaint little shop. The first thing you notice entering My Little Cupcake is the sugary smell. The second thing is the beautiful gifts. It’s not just a cake store but also a specialty cup cake accessory store and baby gift shop. Prices are not outlandish but expect to pay for quality. I couldn’t help myself and walked out with some stripy circus cup cake holders, a floral apron and gorgeous material bunting flags — all for under $ 50. The website doesn’t do the cake decoration skills of the baker justice. They look much more scrumptious in real life as do the lamingtons — best looking lamingtons ever($ 4). For traditional size cupcakes you pay $ 4 each, for min size you pay $ 54 per 2 dozen. They do make gluten free cupcakes but you need to order more than six. 10% discount for orders over 100 pieces. If you fancy making your own professional looking cupcakes My Little Cupcake sell party packs with all the edible decoration bits and pieces for $ 45. Yum and fun!
