This is a great concept, and nice to see some Austrian beers available. Excellent food and stellar service.

Great service on a Sunday afternoon, we were allowed to bring our dogs into the courtyard with us while we ate(a very Austrian thing to do), the schnitzels(pork with cranberry sauce) was exactly like in Austria/Bavaria. Great bier.

My group attended the Gladesville restaurant and were universally disappointed. SLOWSERVICE: We booked for, and arrived at 7:30pm, our food was served at 9:15pm, despite choosing from a limited menu of three options. POORQUALITY: The quality of the food was poor: we mostly ordered schnitzels(which are the house specialty.) They were small, lukewarm and served on a bed of fries that had evidently been sitting for too long. RUDESTAFF: The staff rudely accused our guests of sneaking in wine, despite having purchased the bottle from their bar. BADVALUE: Despite the small portions and poor quality we each paid $ 35 for the main(a schnitzel) and a small entrée. BADVIBE: The décor is interrupted with passive aggressive warning messages at exceedingly overbearing locations. Each message reflecting the owners frustrations with past patrons rather than provide a bona fide warning. RIDICULOUSCONDITIONS: The list of notices did not stop at the walls — the menu lists byzantine conditions such gems as no BYO cake for«health and safety reasons» to the $ 50 cleaning surcharge if you are sick in the bathroom. SUMMARY: I could not think of a more horrible, tasteless and condescending venue to dine — the food barely approximates Austrian cuisine, your local pub probably does better.
