In terms of food, love it. Great selection, very yummy, good prices. In terms of customer service, pretty poor. I went to Bread Top today and was not greeted or even acknowledged. There was no one else in the store so i would have expected some sort of acknowledgement. I did not feel welcome at all. I’m not sure if the lady was having a bad day or if she hates her job but you don’t bring your problems to work.

In terms of their selection, you can’t really fault these guys. They just go from strength to strength. Their selection in delectable Asian sweet and savoury breads makes them hard to resist. Not only are they the perfect snack time sizes, they are cheap too. I like the ‘help-yourself’ service where you get a tray and stack all the breads you want then check out with them. The customer service is not really impressive, but it hardly dampens the mood. All I really care about when coming here is getting my bread snacks. I have had coffee here too, but again, not very impressive. They should just stick to what they do best and that’s bread. Leave the coffee making to the Coffee Club a little further down(although, it’s not the best there either).

Get your cheap chinese baked goods here. Sitting right across from Michel’s in the shopping centre, I wondered just how well it would do, and really, are Michel’s customers going to go down because of them. Turns out, they have attracted more and more people to that part of the centre, always a good thing. Try their sesame balls filled with green bean paste, crispy, bouncy and savoury sweet. I got myself 4 of them at one time and gave my family each 1. Turns out, most of my family weren’t present… so I ate them all. Too bad. This place has something for everyone. From donut twists with cinnamon sugar to double sausage buns, chicken curry puffs and garlic naan breads! What is this fusion bakery to the extreme? Don’t worry though, most of it tastes really nice. They even have cute little mini hamburgers that are 2 bites worth. They don’t charge an arm and a leg for a baked good, and they even have cakes/cheesecakes and sweets in the counter or to order. This is a great little place to get a snack between lunch and dinner or breakfast and lunch, or for brunch for that matter. Try it out, some of the combinations may be a bit absurd sounding, but give it a go. Your taste buds will thank you for it. This bread tastes… sweet?
