Oh man am I glad my hunt for a wedding dress is over! It was not the most enjoyable experience for me at all.
Luckily Aubrey Rose has one of the better selections in Perth. A few of my girlfriends have bought their wedding dresses from this store.
I visited a couple of times, first when I just got engaged (just ducking my head in), then again when the dress hunt was well and truly underway.
The dresses are a touch more bohemian than other dress shops along Oxford Street, which tend to be very classic and mainstream. The Aubrey Rose collection has lots of vintage inspired pieces (1920s, 1940s and 1950s), which is very in vogue right now. I wouldn’t say the collection is cutting edge, it’s still very much for people with quite subtle taste in fashion. Dresses seemed to mostly be around the $ 2−3k mark.
Staff were friendly and nice both times I visited. You need to book an appointment if you want to try dresses on.

This place is a hidden gem! I was so impressed by the team of Bridal by Aubrey Rose. Karen (owner) and her girls, one of which is her daughter, really know there stuff. I totally agree with Lynn, not pushy whatsoever. I had zero idea of what I wanted or would look good one me, the girls were awesome and really patient.
I made an appointment in advance which I would recommend, cause then you get someone specially looking after you and you get about an hour to try on dresses. FYI — it’s not a quick process. It took me 90mins to try on 5 dresses.

This is one of the few remaining bridal shops that is neither pretentious nor pushy, you will be helped from the moment you walk in the door.
I have never been a big fan of shop windows on bridal stores but this one is pretty classy and the dresses are not like others that you will find in the city.
Worth a look.
