If you are looking for the perfect place for a quiet picnic with a water aspect then this will serve you well.
I had planned to go to Putney Park (review
) and had entered it into my car’s navigation which took me to a river ferry. Given that the ferry was over the other side of the river, with time to kill, I ventured around only to find this nice little park.
This park is quite sparse. About the only other feature, other than the expanse of grass and trees that is, is the toilet block. Though while this is really simplistic, what else do you really need.
Actually, because of the lack of a playground area, you are more likely to have a peaceful experience here. Certainly worth checking out, and if it is not what you are looking for, just jump on the ferry and head to Putney park.
