Marston Drive Playground

This is such a cute toddler playground. All the equipment is geared for the younger children and the toilet block stands out for more than one reason, but at least there IS a toilet block.
The whole area is bark chipped with a couple of smaller sections (usually ‘landing’ areas) which are rubber. This looks like a relatively new park but don’t come here if you’re expecting to entertain 10 year olds. The toilet block’s mural is somewhat out of sync with the rest of the area and the age group that would use the playground, but it was painted by some local students from the school around the bend so in that sense, it has a nice community feel to it.
The playground is fenced near the road but the other side of the toilet block backs onto a water catchment area. This is quite ‘reedy’ and invites some resident ducks to the area but this section is not fenced. It’s really quite pretty and there are quite a few footpaths leading to different areas in the neighbouring streets.
