I enjoy coming here when I’m at Coventry. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, particularly around lunchtime. The Singapore Chicken Rice($ 11.50) was a fair sized portion, and came with soup. Not the same as the local hawker food in Singapore, but still very enjoyable.

Singapore Chicken Rice is a grubby little shop in the Morley markets. This place feels like a true Hawker’s stall. An ancient Asian lady sat herself down at a spare seat on our table, no questions or concerns. Good fun! Obviously, I ordered the Hainanese chicken rice($ 10.80) and did not even look at other food on the menu. The chicken had lots of bones, but the meat was quite moist(heh.). I found the sauce too salty, the rice was a little dry, and the chilli was mostly vinegar. However, I hadn’t eaten breakfast and it was tasty enough to finish off. Next time, I might give the fried noodles a shot. Who knows when I might next find myself in Morley on an empty belly!

Very Slow Watched my food come out and sit on the counter after a long wait and get put in the microwave when they noticed it was cold. Foods alright

We ordered the chicken rice with breast meat. It is not too bad for a suburban restaurant, as reflected in my rating. The nearby HoiBo is a better alternative for the weekend Chicken Rice. Tak Chee still rules the roost for the best chicken rice in Perth.
