My first time down in Mordialloc, and after the screen on the green, I end up at Side Street. We were just looking for somewhere warm to grab a drink, and Side Street took us in. Their summer cocktail menu is back and front with many good options to pick from. I had the Pucker Up which had Citrus Vodka, Cointreau, Orgeat Syrup, Raspberry Syrup, and Pineapple Juice rimmed with cinnamon and sugar. And my friend ordered the Lemon Meringue made up of Lemon Vodka, Lemon Juice, Puschkin, Amaretto, Sugar Syrup. His tasted exactly like a Lemon Meringue pie, in it’s alcoholic form. Cocktails are $ 16, which is typical Aussie pricing. If I ever end up in the corner of Melbourne again, I’d try the Secret Garden, made with Cucumber, Gin, Lemon Juice, Apple Juice, Lychee Liqueur, and Elderflower Syrup. Their little taglines for each cocktail are really cute. It’s a nice, cozy and inviting little bar right on Mordialloc’s Main Street. The brick adds to the chicness of it. Oh and I forgot to mention that they do have food options available as well.

This is a great bayside bar, went there after the mordy festival, it was wet and we were all looking like drowned rats but they let us in and found us a table, fantastic staff all round from security to bar. Had the most delicious mojitos and nachos. Main St next door is also fab, same owners, best service around the area and always good consistent food.

The best little bar South of Melbourne. Ask for a bar tender called Matt and order any rum cocktail. He is a wizard and a hell of a nice guy. Great food excellent service.
