Larrikin Puppets specialises in Muppet-​style puppetry inspired by the work of the late, great Jim Henson.

History

Established in 2012.

A lifetime of puppetry, and then the dream roles of «Puppetry Consultant» and cast member in the 2012 Brisbane Arts Theatre production of Tony Award winning Broadway musical, «Avenue Q» lead to the establishment of Larrikin Puppets.

Business Owner

Brett Hansen is the founder of and principal puppeteer at Larrikin Puppets with a lifetime of puppetry experience. This began with childhood puppet show performances at home, and in the school library.

Brett’s weekly puppetry work is mainly focussed on live performances at birthday parties, childcare centres, fetes and festivals around the greater Brisbane area. Here are some other productions Brett has worked on:
