Just like its neighbours right along this section of Mt Alexander rd, the Cubby House Lounge oozes style and class with what seems like ease.
In keeping with tradition of unique lounges in Moonee Ponds, this place is raw, exposed brick, modern bar, eclectic lounges. It was designed for relaxation and comfort, and it delivers both with ease.
With a modern menu, an extensive premium wine list (premium prices as well), great DJ’s, karaōke night and chilled out nite Thursday’s, I find the Cubby House a good place to start the evening.
It’d probably score higher, but with Smoken Joes and Solei next door; both ultra stylish, arty and urban cool, with cheaper, more awesome food, and way way cheaper drinks, it’s hard to go past three stars with this one. Still worth a moment or two of your time!
