While most homes are large and work well in most environments most of our work is customised plans to suit our clients needs.

Our business is continually adding plans and new ideas.

Quite a number of our clients actually choose to build their homes with our guidance.

Our homes are particularly safe and are proteced from the invasion of termites as there is nothing a termite would like in our homes.

While most of our homes are single storey we also build double storey homes.

Our business is a one stop shop from the planning stages to the completed homes. Our experienced consultants are very efficient at achieving your wishes. There expereience with Councils is invaluable in the project’s progress.

History

Established in 1985.

Established 1985 The Principal of Blusteel Homes has been involved with steel housing since the early eighties. We have also completed various projects overseas where climate, safety or efficiency was required.

Originally we catered for Owner Builder market but very soon we realised some people really wanted the quality of our homes but built by a professional.

If time wasn’t a constraint then the Owners, with our assistance would produce a beautiful home with a great deal of sweat equity. We ahve had some clients claim to have saved up to $ 55,000 on the construction of their new home.

In some cases the Owners built homes that were better than I have seen built by a Master Builder. However at the end of the day Blusteel was always there for their clients for guidance and confidence with the project

Understanding what Home Owners want is a continual learning process. Have started pre– computer age we have seen our business develop to the Information Age and all that has brought with it.

Initially I was involved with the drawing of plans, wall frame and truss detailing, delivery and construction of our frames.

We never had to sell homes — people bought them as they provided value to anyone who took the step to own their own home

My role today is still very much hands-​on. I make it my business to know all of our clients personally. Part of that is to ensure we always deliver what we have promised.
