Great lunch we had share meals between 4 of us and were able to use entertainment vouchers which gave us better value for money. The vegetarian pizza was our favourite on the menu it was delicious. Definitely will be back again

We were visiting ‘town’ from the country today to make Boo a build a bear in the Tea Tree Plaza complex and we were going to get lunch in there. After wandering the food court and seeing barely any veggie options and the few there were were just. Lacklustre, we decided to go see what the entertainment book had. Sitting in the car I saw a voucher for The Plaza restaurant and looked up it was directly in front of us. After a quick google and seeing it had veggie options we headed over. You walk into the restaurant through an ‘al fresco’ area which I wish we could have sat in because it was gorgeous(and we let boo have a poke in the fountain!). The restaurant was semi busy, but not flat out, yet no one came to greet us. I’m never sure in this situation whether to just grab a table or go up to the bar. We went up and were given a table number and high Chair from a pleasant staff member. It does seem to have an older clientele but that’s never bothered me before. We had a few lovely older gentlemen come over and say hello to Boo, exclaiming how well behaved she was. Service was very quick and friendly. The salad and veg bar was great(one thing that always makes me happy is no meat in the potato salad and potato bakes!). Yummy roast potatoes that were soft and buttery. I loved that because the salad and veg bar was right where the servers are walking every time something was close to empty they replaced it almost instantly. My eggplant parmigiana was beautiful, rocket salad I didn’t eat as it was just rocket and tomatoes basically so that let it down, but the eggplant was perfectly cooked. I loved that they had plastic cups for boo’s water, little things like this always make me smile. With the buy one get one free from the entertainment book our food for two came to $ 21 before drinks around $ 30 inc drinks. We will be back.

I still remember the first time I came here — it was an absolute dive. We had just watched a movie and I wanted to grab a drink afterwards, so we headed over here and I must say we wish we hadn’t. Anyway, I returned a few years later and I have to say that they have given this place a complete make over. I have to say that I now feel comfortable coming in here for a beer, especially due to its close proximity to one of the cinemas that we regularly visit. I guess the location, and the makeover, makes this pub a much greater draw card that what it used to be. It also has a restaurant attached to it, not that I have ever been there because we usually have a meal at one of the cafes in the shopping centre.

Lovely atmosphere, particularly in summer when you can eat on the deck with the water fountain nearby. The staff are mostly young men and very friendly. The schnitzels here are very nice. I had a nice time here and would definitely go back.

It’s OK, but nothing more. Food was nice(I enjoyed the burger I ate), but seems overpriced for what you get — it is sill a pub. My only other complaint would be that the chips must of been sitting around for a while, as they were cold-ish. The salad bar was average. You can’t complain about the service. All the staff was friendly and the facilities was clean. There is free wifi, but I couldn’t even post this review with it because it was so slow. Rating:

Old people ahoy! It’s a great pub for bringing your Nan to, but not the best if you want some relaxing atmosphere, decent music or even decent beer. A standardised pub working off the old idea of alright food, the same drinks and a vegie/salad bar. Went there on ANZAC day and it was packed, as usual.

Awesome… just awesome. An extra meal came out and although we said it wasn’t ours they offered it to us free. Not only that, they gave us a free drink for the«trouble». A good pub worth coming too. It gets busy so book!

Has the Better half dragged you to Tea Tree Plaza again? Bummer. But Wait… by a stroke of luck you have run into a mate from work, who has the same dilema. Time to work together! Head up to the movie cinema and suggest the girliest movie. Once inside, when it is dark, say you have to go to the bath room and high tail it over to the Modbury Plaza Hotel across the road for a couple of pints. Well, you and your mate now have a couple of hours to kill, so why not relax in the lounge area, grab a snitty and a nice Cleansing Ale! Although I haven’t tried the exact circumstance explained above before, I have definately escaped from a dragged out shopping afternoon by going to the Plaza! Not a bad pub really. Pretty decent food(no real shocks on the menu) and surprise surprise, they serve beer! It is a bit of a standard family pub, with an expansive dining area with adjoining lounge area(with a couple of plasmas) plus a pokie area next to the front bar. It is one of those pubs that, personally, I only head to if I am out that way or meeting friends, not really a place I would plan to go. Nothing wrong with the Plaza, it is just OK. That is all. Oh, and if you do try my little concept above, after the movie make sure to say you lost your ticket stub and they wouldn’t let you back in!
