JB Hi Fi Modbury would have 5 stars if not for the tight squeeze of a carpark that always seems to be full.
This place has everything you could imagine in hardware, software, gaming, accessories, movies and music.
JB always has enough staff on to help you with anything you might need — including people who have specialist knowledge in certain areas. I got great advice and a great camera here, an ipod, ipad, games, CD’s and Movies. Their range is huge.
I’ve found CD’s in here that I couldn’t even find on the internet and there is even an entire section devoted to Australian stand up comedy.
For such a huge range at genuinely great prices, JB Hi Fi Modbury is a great place to get any kind of electronic needs.

JB Hi-Fi’s are my one-​stop shops for DVDs, the occasional CD when I buy them, video games and other electronics.
I’m a big fan of TV show series’ and often buy them in box sets or separately. Admittedly I do download a lot because they come out way earlier in the US, but sometimes I am behind a lot and can buy a bunch of season at once in an Aus store.
The pricing is always competitive and they do deals and bundles and have catalogues all the time.
The service is very prompt, informative and friendly, with their quirky style and alternative looks, but they know their stuff and are very tech savvy.
Definitely head to JB for new CD releases, Blu-​rays, DVDs and even bigger electronics like TVs and stereos.
