The Shed

I have been to this place several times and I’m pretty sure it has changed management in the last several months. I can’t recal a time when they haven’t been great and the coffee is not too bad, and staff and the barista are helpfull and attentive.
Try the all day vegetarian breakfast which is served on a huge round wooden board. Not sure there is any way one person can eat that alone. I’ve always shared it with my friend and it is so tasty and filling you will do it again next time.
Menu items are good, but changing it up a little would help, especially if they could add some tasty wraps. Same with desserts, more variety would make them fantastic for any meal or coffee + naughty. OOoo! Chose one of their other meals (maybe their yummy burger) and their chips are THE BEST! SO bad!
Note: there are 2 Sheds on Level 3 at Westfields Miranda (not far from each other). I have only been to the sit down one with tables inside and out on the walkway (bridge). The other (smaller shop) started off as a take away only, but now has a few tables in the open walkway.

For some ungodly reason I found myself at the mall before opening one Sunday, so I decided to grab some breakfast to pass the time.
I liked the look of The Shed’s menu and ordered the 2 sliders (1 chorizo & egg, 1 bacon & egg) with a coffee for $ 12.9.
Both sliders were delicious and worth going back for. The perfectly cooked runny egg yolk made for some messy eating, and I would have preferred a spicier chorizo, but I tend to like things a bit spicier than the average bear, and I really don’t mind getting a bit messy.
Bdub had the equally messy and equally delicious baguette, which he happily ate as we discussed when we could make it back to try the lunch menu.

This place is an absolute gem — especially for something in the middle of a Westfield! The food is delicious — I had scrambled eggs, haloumi and roast tomato on sourdough and it was delish. Staff were friendly and fast. This was much better than I expected it to be. Definitely a decent shopping trip pit-​stop.
