If you’re after quality, gourmet smallgoods, Sunshine Meats is the place for you. Our range of smoked and oven roasted products includes our famous double smoked Chilli Chicken Breast found in delis across Australia, and includes other chicken, turkey, pork, beef and lamb products.
The latest additions to our range are a trademarked series of rashers made from chicken, turkey or beef — a great alternative to pork bacon for your favourite breakfast meal.
Our products are sold in gourmet delis and food stores across Australia, and we also have our own retail outlet and café on site at our factory premises in Milperra NSW.
History
Established in 1988.
Since launching Sunshine Meats in 1988 as a small butcher shop in Redfern, owner Joe Pereira had a vision to create a range of smallgoods unique to the Australian market. Joe used his Portuguese heritage to develop a range of gourmet smallgoods which now includes the famous smoked double Chilli Chicken Breast and its companions, Lemon Pepper, Portuguese, Mild, Mediterranean and Truffle, turkey products including smoked and oven roast turkey breast, hams, bacon and speck, Portuguese salami, coppa, and chorizo, chicken chorizo, black pudding, farinheira, smoked beef and gourmet sausages.
The Chilli Chicken Breast was the first product of its kind to combine two whole double chicken breasts flavoured with Joe’s unique combination of spices and double smoked using natural wood chips.
Available through a network of distributors, Sunshine Meats products can be found at delicatessens, supermarkets and specialty stores across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
