This place users Lilydale free range chicken. A lot of people I know go on about the place in Granville which name I want to mention but I definitely think this place is much better. it isn’t so close to a station but it’s deathly worth the drive.

Best chicken shop around that place. The food is fresh and delicious and the garlic sauce is to die for. Chickens are never dry which can often be a problem with other places. Service is quick even though they are always busy.

Yummmmmy! Great charcoal chicken and friendly staff. I prefer La Mono’s chicken to El Jannah’s because the chicken tend to be juicier and has a nice golden brown finish. I find that the El Jannah’s chicken is sometimes burnt and dry, not always consistent. And their fattouch salad is amazing! You should ask for it in the normal bowl though because sometimes they give it to you in the fried lebanese bread and it seems to be a lot less than the original. Also, they’ve cut down on the pickles lately :(I miss their good amount of pickles! I really liked their pickles!

I went here for lunch on Sunday and was blown away with how good the food and service was. We had a shish tawook plate each, and my mouth is watering just at the thought! I was so full, but just kept eating because it was so tasty and so fresh. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The food is spectacular!

Absolutely love this place. Had the shish tawook plate which is marinated chicken breast kebab with hummus, tabouli, pickles and delicious garlic sauce. It was divine! The staff are genuinely friendly and service is great. This place is a hidden gem! Highly recommended.

La Mono offers great Shish Taouk plates. The chicken portion is generous and delicious, juicy and tender. The sides include pickles, hummous and taboule and they were all good. The outside set-up is perfect for summer days. My partner ordered the kebab version and it was quite disappointing so that’s why I am only giving it 4 out 5 stars. Almost no lamb in his kebab and he got it 10 minutes after I got my plate. I would say, stick to the basic and go with the plates and roast chicken and you will have a pleasant delicious tasty meal.

Love it! the roast chicken is what you’re here for, it’s the best I’ve had in Sydney! Sadly I not get depressed when I get regular roast chickens because they’re really boring compared to good lebanese style stuff like La Mono. The sides are good too, I’ve tried the pickles, the garlic sauce and they are both great complements to the chicken. Also impressive are the chips, which are crispy and taste good. I guess they use a better tasting oil? There’s a basic eat-in setup, with an expanded menu including cocktails and desserts, but take away is just as good so locals can grab some chicken on the way home! Highly recommended.

Much like El Jannah in Granville, the chicken here is amazing. Great garlic sauce, pickles are a great side to the chicken, and this place even does traditional desserts. Unlike El Jannah, La Mono is not crowded, and a much nicer environment to sit and have a meal. Worth travelling that little bit extra distance to not feel rushed and cramped when enjoying a meal.
