It’s ironic to be put on hold for 20minutes when you are ringing to cancel your service with this company. The ²⁴⁄₇ service commitment is a lie, yes someone answers the phone but they can’t help you and on the multiple times we have called we are just told to ring back in business hours. My recommendation if you need to contact this company is ring the sales line, cause they are quick to take those calls.

I can write a small novel on my correspondence back and forth on the last few months between WebCentral and me. So, I’ll leave it really short and simple. Wait times are in the 30+ minute range. I’ve called at 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. and have not found wait times to change. There is also no countdown queue. The time on hold will feel like an eternity because it will be an eternity. The person one speaks with will most likely not be able to sort out your problem. For example, customer service can not handle accounting issues (or vice-​versa). One will then be put back on hold of which at this time, there will be a high probability that your call will be disconnected. Wait time will begin again.
All issues/​requests must be put into a job board. If one calls and the issue/​request has not been placed on a job board first, they will tell you to do so and then will be in contact with you. I have not found this to be the case. After placing an issue on the job board, an automatic e-​mail is sent which says, «Your request is being reviewed by technical support.» I too have not found this to be the case. I find this ‘job board’ to be unattended to as over seven (yes, seven) of my requests have not been completed (i.e. 1. call me 2. cancel my membership 3. reimburse me 4. send me my authorization codes so that I can leave, etc.).
Unfortunately, I didn’t do my research on this company but after experiencing the above I started Googling various key phrases like «WebCentral reviews», «Hosting through WebCentral», «WebCentral issues»… and well, it appears I’m not the only one with these complaints including a blog titled, «Reasons not to use Web Central…». If only I’d stumbled across this advice a year ago. Drats.
