Description

Specialties

Viva Physiotherapy is conveniently located on the corner of Flinders Lane and Elizabeth St in the Melbourne CBD.

Our primary goal is to provide the best standard of physiotherapy care to our clients and we do this by ensuring that each appointment is of 30 minutes duration and is only ever 1:1.

We pride ourselves on identifying the cause of your pain, rather than just treating the pain itself. Our special interests include distance running, AFL football, biomechanics, pregnancy-related problems and ergonomic issues such as neck pain and headaches.

Viva has also recently opened a fully-equipped Pilates studio. We run 38 classes per week, in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening.

We provide services such as physiotherapy, acupuncture, dry needling, sports massage, Pilates, manipulation, and ergonomic assessments.

Our physiotherapists are highly experienced with post-graduate qualifications. Please visit our website for further details.

History

Established in 2009.

Kathryn Anderson started Viva Physiotherapy in 2009 because she wanted to change the worrying trend of physiotherapists treating multiple clients at a time and not allowing sufficient time for diagnosis and rehabilitiation. That’s why, at Viva, we offer strictly one-on-one appointments for 45 minutes (initial) or 30 minutes (follow-up). We also focus on rehabilitation and long-term goals: that means we assist you to get yourself better. Forever.
