Based in Southbank, the heart of Melbourne’s performing arts precinct.

The concept of Ticketstar was born through working in the theatre industry. We quickly realised the need for an effective solution that reduced theatre companies reliance on mail order, phone and fax bookings — as well as giving patrons more control, such as choosing their own seats in the theatre. Oh, and something that didn’t come with a hefty price tag! Originally the solution was designed with schools and amateur theatre groups in mind but has been modified to suit almost any event.

Our aim is to help organisations manage their ticketing needs and deliver a great show for their patrons. We love attending events, just as much as we love organising them. We’re in it for the fun and to provide the Australian event management industry a low-​cost alternative.

Meet the Business Owner

Brett F.

Business Owner

Brett has over 10 years experience working with technology in the events industry. He began his career working for global technology organisation where he gain valuable experience in sales and marketing management.

His experience at one of Australia’s leading schools as the theatre company manager led to the founding of Ticketstar. Brett saw the need for a ticketing solution that addressed the requirements of event organisers and smaller organisations such as amateur theatre groups and educational institutions.
