This café is situated in the broad open foyer of 500 Bourke Street. That gives it a cold and clinical feel. The service and food are good, but it doesn’t offer a warm «stay for a while» atmosphere — neither does the seating. It’s all very serviceable though.

Situated in the foyer of 500 Bourke St, this café serves mostly the business crowds. The kitchen is very open and you can see the staff making beautiful fresh salads in between customers.
For me the standout is the Chorizo and Roast Pumpkin salad. I sometimes think the coffees when they are served are a bit too hot!

Normally very good teas, muffins, lunches & breakfast yogurts. A few staff are brighten-​your-​day friendly, Danielle being the best example. Sometimes the queue is long, sometimes the staff are purely functional.
