There are a lot of rooftop bars in the CBD. All I’ve been to are better but this is one of the few in this part of the city. It’s a typical hipster place with mismatched furniture and shabby design. The selection of beer is poor(considering they have options of bottles there is no excuse). That in combination with the total lack of shade(no umbrellas at all but sunblock is available) makes it 2 stars for me. I would expect it to be very busy with the after work crowd.

The Hills rooftop has only been alive for a couple of weeks, and is still in the early stages. Situated on the roof of the Tuxedo Cat — although entry is via stairs at Flanigan Lane/Sutherland St corner — This DIY styled bar is going to be the place to be this summer. The rooftop has funky pallet tables and big green solar lights shaped like apples. On tap they have beers from Thunder Road, and a selection of wines and spirits. The real treat here is the Sunday BBQ, which is partnered with a comedy show hosted by the person behind the grill. This is where it shows signs of being like their partner space The Tuxedo Cat.
