Reinvent Your Career

I believe this career fair run all over the country. I was at the event this past weekend which held at the Brisbane Convention Centre. It’s $ 10 per a one day or $ 15 for a two days pass per person.
If you are looking for a job, this is not the kind of career fair you want to go to. 90% of the booths are academic schools and colleges. There were only two or three booths that were employers looking to hire.
Some schools like Flight Centre Academy will consider to hire you if you go through their 10 days training course that costs $ 2,500 and that is not a guarantee employment.
If you looking to have a career change but willing to go back to school, then this is a place to be. Check out the website if you are interested

If you ever go to this kind of event, make sure you go to the seminar session. Usually there are so many great guest speakers. I like to listen to those guest speakers, there are always something to learn from. They will try to sale you something at the end but you don’t have to buy it.
It was not that useful for me since I was looking for a job, that’s why I give then two stars.
