When I was staying at the Backpackers United hostel, I used to stare at this phở shop everyday from the kitchen. I finally decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. I had not expected much from a restaurant in the train station. The phở came out piping hot and the veggies were fresh. Seating is very limited here during lunch hours when the business people come and there’s a line. So try to come at quieter hours. I’ll definitely stop by again.

Decent Phở here. Small place, gets very crowded. The spring rolls were good but minus that tasty peanut sauce you usually get with them. The phở was very good with a complex broth and plenty of meat and noodles. Inexpensive overall.

The first thing that caught my attention with this little Vietnamese restaurant was that they were advertising cheap food. Okay, sometimes cheap food suggests that it is not the best, but that is not the case with this place — not only is the cheap but the small servings are really generous. Okay, it is probably best not to read the menu too closely(something that I learnt in Hong Kong because sometimes you don’t actually want to know what part of the animal the meat is coming from because, at least where I am concerned, it does have a habit of putting me off), but don’t let that put you off this place because the food is really good, it comes out pretty quickly, and you(or at least me) leaves pretty satisfied in the end.
