Found our Indian place in Melbourne. Go a long way to find better. Had Butter chicken, goat curry and other delights. Aromas and flavours to die for. Will return again next time in Melbourne.

Simply delicious Indian cuisine!!!
As a group of four arriving towards the end of their service times we were seated and served very efficiently & the staff were very friendly (perhaps they just wanted to get us in & out so they could go home but it didn’t feel that way).
The menu is quite vast with plenty of options for both meat eaters & vegetarians, serving up more than just the bog standard fair of many an Indian restaurant. The naan breads were ginormous & the food super tasty. I had the Aloo Tama which was a vegetarian dish that I polished off in no time as it was so good.
The meal was very good value for money with reasonably large servings & no scrimping on the quality of the food.
Nirankar will definitely be my go to Indian restaurant in the future.

This definitely took care of my Indian craving! I was happy to find that they specialize in not only Indian but Nepalese food and the veggie momos were great! The staff was super friendly and even made me my favorite Indian dish that was not on the menu. It’s hard to find an Indian restaurant with a nice sit down environment and a good wine list, they had both! The reviews did not lie, I would absolutely return.

Well, I have now been to this restaurant twice and it is simply yummy! For some reason, my first was not reccomended… Oh well, I can say the dal tadka was deliciously spicy and the chicken was tender and yummy the second time as well.
Nirankar has some of the best butter chicken I have had outside India. I was impressed with the dal makhni as well. This restaurant has the best Indian food in Melbourne.
Delivery to Southbank, fresh ingredients and excellent flavors makes this a return very soon for me and my family!
