Delicious, healthy salad bar in a beautifully designed space. Salads are prepared to order, taste super fresh and come in huge portions — one $ 15 bowl fed two of us for a light lunch. Love the huge range of ingredients and textures in each salad, including crunchy quinoa and linseed. Makes them taste far beyond what you would normally make at home!

Stumbled across this gem on Flinders Lane. It is absolutely amazing. I was tossing up between the miso glazed salmon and 18 hour slow cooked beef and opted for the latter. Slow cooked beef, with pickled enoki, kimchi and a tamari dressing. Very satisfying!!! Will be back

Yes! If you like salad, you need to try Laneway Greens. Expect a bowl full of beautiful fresh leaves, veggies, seeds, protein, grains and starches. I recommend the sweet potato option, it really is yummy(and makes you feel super healthy!).

I can only comment on the one salad that I’ve tried so far but it was certainly enough to make me want to go back & sample more, even if the price is in the more premium bracket. That said when you get a top quality meal I do not mind paying a little more. Laneway Greens has a small but tasty selection of salads & smoothies for you to choose between. I opted for the Wombok Chicken Slaw & got it to take away. There is a hidden kitchen behind the counter where the salad making magic happens. I wondered what on earth I had ordered when I was presented with a ginormous brown paper bag. On my journey home I could smell something delicious, little did I know that it was the super zingy salad dressing. The salad was presented in a recyclable cardboard bowl which looked rather funky & came with two dressings which gave zing & spice, crisp & fresh ingredients with just enough chicken. The flaxseed cracker was particularly good. I devoured the whole bowl & was left pleasantly satisfied without being overwhelmed. That said I could easily have carried on munching if my bowl had not been empty!!!

Hooray! Amongst the hoards of pre-prepared sandwich joints and tourist cafes of yesteryear there’s finally a viable, healthy option for lunch around Little Collins and Swanston Streets. Let’s get it out the way first… There’s no sub-$ 10 salads. Organic, fresh produce, and great cuts of meat will do that. There’s a Thai-like larb chicken salad that’s delicious. Beetroot and feta is the best one I’ve had; real roasted, pickled, and fresh. Takeaway containers are completely recyclable which is a plus. There’s also cold press juices and pana chocolate to boot. Jump in before midday or the other side of 1pm to avoid crowds.

Now, that was some serious salad. They definitely do not skimp on portion size at this new little salad haven. I went for the roasted cauliflower($ 15) which was topped with baba ganoush, lentils, pomegranate vinaigrette, crispy pita and a beautiful array of greens. Sooo satisfying. Since I’m a fat kid(and reallllly wanted to try everything) I also got the matcha green tea & pear smoothie. It was a bit steep($ 10) but they weren’t cutting you short here either — pretty freakin’ American-sized. The smoothie was the perfect balance of sweet and«green,» which is a pretty big accomplishment in my book. The one down side is the teeny tiny seating area. It’s bar stool style and rather crammed. I was also a bit freaked out that I had to watch myself eat(you face a wall mirror). So yeah, probably best to go takeaway during the lunch rush. Or stare at yourself… if you’re into that sort of thing. BONUS they sell Pana raw chocolate too(fig & orange ftw)
