History
Established in 2008.
Herr Blick founder Steven Blick has nearly 25 years experience in the field of hairdressing, beginning his career as an apprentice in Belfast His craft has seen him tend the manes of celebrities in London’s Soho, own an award-winning salon in the East End’s Shoreditch, and arrive in Melbourne via a stint working in Hong Kong.
Over time Blick grew to loath the modern hair salon experience, finding it be an unsatisfying and impersonal exchange between a customer and several salon employees. In recent years he has eschewed this approach by working independently. Ultimately his goal was to create a bespoke hairdressing experience for his clients, one in which a haircut is merely a memento of a unique transaction. This is how Herr Blick began.
