No actual Harbourviews or bathrobes which is very disappointing. The bed was hard, the bathroom is average with no locks on the door and there is a pointless wall in the middle of the room and the lounge has no cushions. Good for if you really wanna save money but then again, I did pay too much for the one night.

A very convenient location, if you want to get to the Southern Cross end of Melbourne. Staff were very friendly, rooms basic but tidy and clean. would go back.

Firstly, I must say that the actual apartment looks way better than the photos on the website. They really should do a better job with the website! Nonetheless, our stay there was pretty eventful. We came back one night to find that our power was shorted. So we called reception to have someone come and reset the power board. The next morning, we realised that the power was shorted again. The guy at reception claimed he «wasnt an electrician», but he «googled it» and had us try unplugging all the devices, then reset the power board and plugging everything back in again. Wow, very helpful: P We finally figured out that it was the fridge that was causing problems, so we called reception again and they agreed to replace the fridge for us. When they came to replace the fridge, we heard a single knock before they immediately barged into our room. Wow. What happened to waiting for the door to open? Thankfully, we were all dressed, or it would have been awkward. Barging into rooms is a big NONO for ANY hotel :( Other than the small incident, the entire stay was pleasant. Location is accessible. 5 min walk to Southern cross station for the shuttle to the airport. 1min walk to the city circle tram station(Spencer & LaTrobe). My only qualm is that they only provide 1 hour of free wifi for your entire stay :(

Ok. Firstly it has no harbour views which starts out the relationship like any you would with someone who greets you with a transparent lie. Secondly it’s in a dead end of town — never stay near docklands if you come to Melbourne(protip) it’s a cement wasteland. Rooms in this hotel are dated, bathroom dirty, beds uncomfortable, noise from street significant(I was on fourth floor and felt like I was sleeping on street level). Room also smelt icky. Needless to say I won’t be going back.

Harbour View offer nice, modern, comfortable rooms from between $ 130 to $ 200, depending on when you’re staying. With 24 hour reception, undercover secure parking onsite and a café next to Reception, these centrally located apartments just opposite Flagstaff Gardens are a great place to crash for the weekend. For business, pleasure, singles, couples and families, you can get studio apartments right up to 3 rooms. We stayed here once prior to moving to the burbs and it was great. Our daughter was about three at the time and it was big enough for her as well. We were on the third floor and had a lovely little balcony, pity it wasn’t facing out on to Flagstaff Gardens or overlooking the Southern Cross/Docklands precinct. Doesn’t get five stars because the Atlantis just around the corner offers more modernity and larger rooms at the same cost. Also, Harbour View doesn’t really offer harbour views, not unless you’re on the top floor on the right side. All in all though, great service, 24 hour reception and a hotel that’ll start your hols off right in this glorious city!
