My mission — to find somewhere ‘fun to go for dinner’. My audience — regional family visitors with children that hate the city(know, I need to work on them more). My answer– Ginza Teppanyaki! I hadn’t eaten here before but read the previous Unilocal review and thought ‘if they got egg on their face, that must have been entertaining for at least some of the diners’! It was a fun place to eat and the food was delicious! We went with set menu number 1 and found that we were all satisfied and still able to walk, rather than waddle, out of the restaurant. Our chef, Ben, was happy to answer the pestering questions that my brother and niece and nephew threw at him and all the guests in our party where happy to(at least attempt to) catch the fried egg and bowls that was thrown our way! Probably not a date night restaurant but definietly somewhere fun and tasty to eat!

I dined here last night with 6 of my girlfriends, we had a good time. Its a very loud Teppanyaki bar but also entertaining. Our chef had great knife skills and we had fun by catching egg in our mouth, or in my case — my eye! This venue is good for a group but if you are looking for a romantic Teppanyaki bar by the likes of Teppanyaki Inn this is not the place. The wine list was okay too. Food was tasty but not outstanding. It is reasonably priced.
