This place has immediately become one of my favourites as I am a huge fan of Israeli food. The food is delicious, healthy and fresh. It’s a small place and caters to people having lunch on their own or at most two people. Staff is relatively friendly and there is a welcoming atmosphere. My only objection to this place is the price. I feel $ 13 for a plate with no meat is a bit much and if you want to add meat its another $ 9! I will only come here when I feel like splurging and I’m not super hungry.

I love the concept of this place! You get to choose 1 protein and 3 sides — it’s kind of like a cafeteria set up, but with much better food. The protein and sides/salads vary from day to day so you’re sure not to have a repeat if you frequent the place. They also have a couple of different pita options that change daily. For my lunch I chose the braised beef with beans, green beans, cauliflower with tahini, and lentil salad. The portions are big, but so is the price — this turned out to be a $ 20 lunch. It is worth it though. You get generous serving of meat and the sides give you several servings of vegetables. I got my lunch to go so I could enjoy it in nearby Flagstaff Gardens. Everything was in one container, so it made it a little difficult to enjoy each item individually or pick out my favorite parts. But together, everything worked well, filled me up, and fueled the next day of my day wandering Melbourne.
