Essentially, this remains the same as all the other Aesop outlets; Stocked to the brim of their namesake’s products, and with the emphasis on packaging being recyclable and eco friendly. Same range, same prices, same products as all the other outlets; and made with qaulity ingredients; no nasties.

Aesop is a Melbourne based company that makes a range of products for skin, hair, and body. They have a strong and unique brand that focuses on design and passion and this is visible in their creative marketing and unique stores. The Aesop store in QV is minimally designed and sticks with earth colours. I came in looking for a facial product. She recommended the oil free facial hydrating serum made from aloe vera. Although it was sticky when I first applied it, it eventually dried and soothed my skin. If you’re like me and hate heavy moisturiser, this serum is a must. Whilst the products are amazing and can be found throughout Melbourne’s trendy establishments(Cumulus Inc, Ladro, etc.), what makes Aesop particularly unique are the people. The people at Aesop know their products in and out and are extremely helpful. They help by asking a lot of questions and if you’re still on the fence, they give you a little sachet sample to take with you and try at home. Although they are a bit expensive($ 50 to $ 60 for facial moisturiser/serum), your skin is worth the price. I’m also a fan of their quotes — they pick some amazing quotes that sum up their brand well.
