We flew Jetstar airlines to Melbourne and we were delighted to find that with our business class ticket purchase we were allowed to take advantage of the first class lounge. OMG this was a treat, and I’ve seen quite a few airline lounges in my time and this one was special. The staff were incredible. Friendly, helpful and made me want to come back. Isn’t that what customer service is all about? There was a great selection of hot and cold items available for dinner and snacks. The bar offered a wide variety of spirits, and always served with a smile. Hot showers. I didn’t use them, but they were available for the exhausted traveller. CAN’T wait to go back

Disappointing… the food was like something from an elementary school lunch room. Fried fish sticks, potato wedges, and tasteless broccoli soup. There is a cool pancake machine but the pancakes sucked. Some areas are WAY overlit(this was in the evening) and I couldn’t even sit there because the lights would be right in my eyes. Why so bright? The bathrooms were nice though. Aesthetically pleasing. And there are showers. Self-serve beverages of all kinds is great. There is a pool table! Overall, the food was disappointing compared to other lounges I’ve been to. I was hoping for better quality.

One of my favorite lounges. The selection of food and drink, plus the relaxed cozy atmosphere is really relaxing before that international flight. Tucked away downstairs you get away from the visual abuse that is now the international/duty free terminal.
