The Eighth Lunar Month.
This very important Bhuddist festival, celebrated all over Thailand, is called Wan Asana Bucha. It commemorates the first sermon given by the Buddha. Many Thais will return to their birthplace to make offerings at local temples. It is a good opportunity to catch up with family and friends.
