Great Café for cosy, informal chats and most importantly fantastic Coffee and Belgium Chocolate drinks if you’re up for that and friendly staff. Can get busy at lunch time otherwise great place to meet especially in winter time. Atmosphere very welcoming. Have a lovely range of cakes and other goodies– very dangerous calorie count.

It is really nice to have a place like this open until late, 7 days a week in the northern suburbs! It’s a real treat and a novelty spot for an impromptu catch up with friends. It’s a reasonably small place with both indoor and outdoor seating options, not to mention a really nice, cozy seating spot with a fire place and armchairs(love, love, love). Although, as the name suggests, the focus is chocolate they do offer some savoury options but let’s face it, sweets are the way to go when popping in here. While their decedent hot chocolates don’t quite compete with somewhere like San churro’s they are still heart warming and enjoyable and more importantly, for me, they are relatively local! I tried their strawberry crepes which were lip-smacking and managed to snag a bit of the heaven sundae which was really good. They have a beautiful display of an arrangement of delightful looking sweets and the staff were really friendly. I did find it slightly difficult to navigate my way to the register to order, just due to the way the tables are set up and the number of people that were cramming in at the time, but the very fact that it’s this popular is an accolade on its own. Will be back and am delighted they have opened their doors in Mawson Lakes.

Interesting little café/cake type shop. I was genuinely intrigued by the atmosphere of this little café at Mawson Lakes, it has a very interesting interior; a fireplace against the wall with cousy little sofas surrounding it and a small table for resting coffee on would tingle anyones interest in the establishment. I was quite captivated with some of the selection of cakes and deserts they had for sale, a variety of cakes were displayed for a reasonable price, however I couldn’t find any pricing for cakes or cake slices on their given menu at that time. The actual cake and food quality looks OK, nothing extravagant, but nevertheless reasonable. What disappointed me the most about this lovely little café was the tasteless and extremely hot coffee that was served. The actual coffee was brewed way too fast; most likely rushed, I generally tasted the burnt coffee beans which also left an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth.
