Not too shabby… We ordered the same food. Chicken souvlaki with no onion. The pita bread wraps up the succulent chicken, tatziki, tomato and hot chips(seasoned lightly in sweet paprika). The pita is soft light and not dense… very nice. The chicken is flavourful and succulent cooked to perfection. I woild have liked it to be a a toucher bigger and a little more tatziki sauce. All in all really good and for $ 9 its not too bad of a feed… we’ll be back

Another reason to head out to Mascot for a meal. This place does both Souvlaki and Gyros. For my first visit, I had the Lamb Souvlaki plate which was excellent. The lamb was nicely cooked and the accompanying Pita bread, chips and salad was on song and made for a very fulfilling meal. The place isn’t too big but there was enough seating for my visit on a warm Sunday lunch. This is authentic Greek cuisine and the workers here speak the lingo and I get the impression quite a few are family. This is good cooked with love and care and I didn’t mind waiting a little bit longer for my food to come out. I will certainly return to try the Gyros which looked great on the rotating grill.

Absolutely top notch. I was introduced to this place by one of the Greek boys who works with me. Came first time with him. Came back today with the wife. The mixed plate is more than enough for 2 of you or even three. Will definately come again.

A perfect little piece of Greece hidden away in Mascot. Just what I was craving! The souvlaki is tender and flavorful, the salad crisp with abundant feta. I only wish my stomach was able to fit more in. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently moved to Mascot and my sister told me about GRK as it was just up the road from our place. This is not a place you want to come if your on a diet, or healthy eating, but let’s just forget about the diet for now. GRK is located on the corner of King Street and Botany Road, Mascot. The best place to park is in the parking lot off High Street as parking on Botany Road is a nightmare. GRK is casual dining with white chairs and tables outside with big open windows. The staff are authentically Greek(not 2nd generation), and the menu comes in English AND Greek. The staff are heavily accented and you are transported to Greece with their Greek music in the background. My partner and I ordered Lamb Souvlaki Gyros($ 8 each) with a side of chips with feta cheese on top($ 6.50) and two drinks(they don’t have tap water so you have to buy bottled water — it is only $ 2 so its fine). The chips came out first and they were«hand cut» chips which actually looked hand cut. The feta cheese was crumbled on top of the chips and the saltiness of the feta was delicious on top of the chips(that weren’t overly salty). Next up our gyros came. I actually haven’t had Gyros in Australia, but I have had them in the US as they are more widespread than donor kebabs(in LA anyway). My partner and I took a bite into our gyros and the pita bread was soft but toasty, and the lamb souvlaki was perfectly cooked. There was tomatoes, onion, chips and tzatziki in the gyros along with the meat. The lamb was so good, it wasn’t tough or overcooked. I think i inhaled the gyro as it was that tasty. On first look, you think that the gyro is a bit small. By the time you finish it, you will be glad that you didn’t order more food. We didn’t even finish our chips. Once we finished our gyros, one of the staff members came out with a nutella pita(toasted pita bread with nutella on top). He was heading my direction and my eyes were popping — then he stopped at our table and asked us if we were finished. YES we were, then he placed the nutella pita on our table and told us it was on the house and to ENJOY! I was so excited! The nutella pita isn’t large but it was cut up into quarters. It was just the perfect size to finish off our dinner! So good! I would come back here again! The staff were really friendly and nice, and GRK is great for casual dining!
