I was really really disappointed with this Officeworks. With the assistance of an Officeworks store in Melbourne we had arranged for an item to be set aside for me to collect the next business day. I had explained that I would have to get a taxi there so I impressed upon them the importance of setting it aside for me. Officeworks Mitchell Park assured me it would be there. When I arrived at Officeworks MP it wasn’t there and it took them 20 minute to locate an inferior substitute. A $ 70 taxi fare later, I feel very let down and ripped off. The one saving grace about Officeworks MP is that the two sales people who tried to help me were very nice and polite. That is the only reason Officeworks MP gets two stars. Otherwise I would have given it one star.

I came here to get a whiteboard, and realised that it has moved across the road!!! It is now a mega-store, absolutely HUGE! While everything is laid out well, it is still quite intimidating when you enter the store. The aisles on the left are labelled, which is handy. Since I went on a Monday evening, there were a lot of staff on hand to help me out. Saying that, what is listed on the website is not necessarily what is in store … so I had to improvise. They now have an aisle of upmarket fancy desk accessories, probably to rival Kikki K and to some extent Smiggle(in the fact that they are colour coded) — very nice! I will definitely have to come here again ;) On the right hand side of the store is all the electrical and office equipment — this seems easy to negotiate, and again there were plenty of staff here to help out customers. Pretty impressive!

Officeworks is a good franchise that offer a great range of services. They are pretty much the stationary masters when it comes to office supplies and they stock a great range at their Marion store. Apart from pads, pencils, pens and scrapbooks, you also have a great range of technology too that includes laptops, software, graphics calculators and more. What I particularly like about Officeworks though is their printing service. I have had a couple of A2 posters printed from their stores and the quality is superb. For $ 20, they do a good job of getting the image onto the cardboard and also cutting it to the right size. In terms of their pricing, it is really good when items were on special. Back in the day when core i7 laptops were new, they had specials where you could get an i7 enabled laptop for under $ 999, which was definitely something, considering competitors would charge $ 1299+ for the same sort of laptop. Their specials aren’t necessarily as good as they were but they are still definitely worth checking out. Something that I also like is their 3m of whiteout correction tape for 39c. That is definitely something worth investing in.

So you need office goods? Pens? Pencils? Writing Pads? Anything that falls in to the category of STATIONARY? Travel no further, Officeworks is the place to go! This store off of Marion road is huge inside, but I found what I was looking for almost instantly as it’s fantastically set out; the best I’ve come across for sure. The staff are polite and the lady exhausted all of her options before eventually telling me that my favourite pen is no longer made! I settled for a worthy substitute though! I’ve had things printed here in the past and their service is quick and of high quality. One thing though, steer away from here a few weeks prior to the beginning of the school term or uni semester, stationary shops becomes a nightmare at this time! For variety and staff that really do what ever they can to fulfill your requests, you can’t look past this Officeworks store1

As a girl who loves her stationery selection more than her wardrobe, Officeworks is a warehouse sized bastion of happiness. Stocking all your office, school and work needs, the Marion branch is just as big as the others with a more extensive electronics department. Printers, paper, pens, scrapbooks, Minties… you name it and Officeworks will have it. Staff in store can be sparsely populated but are generally quite knowledgeable and if they aren’t too sure will find someone who can help. The store also runs workshops on the weekend catering to small business owners. Prices are quite cheap and parking is a breeze.
