I have been several times to Havana Beach and never disappointed. Great for breakfast or dinner, the food is awesome. The place is cosy and feel like home. Some days a live band is playing music and bring some other good vibes. Go there with friends and enjoy a nice cocktail following with tacos or their awesome wicked chips to share! Love it

Two things: Plantain chips and Taco Tuesday. First, plantain chips. Salty crunchy little nuggets of goodness that make you feel like you’re eating healthy when you cover them in Havana Beach’s awesome guacamole. I haven’t found these guys anywhere else in Sydney so it’s a pretty awesome treat. And Taco Tuesday– amazing. Tacos are $ 2.50 each and there’s also a happy hour with $ 5 drinks so essentially you can stuff yourself silly for $ 20 or so. Favourite taco is their fish taco, but their skirt steak taco is also super delicious. Breakfast at Havana Beach is also great– a bit of mexican influence(try their rice and beans option! or breakfast burritos!) with old stand bys like corn fritters and baked eggs. The only downside to this place is their service. PLEASE don’t come hungry because by the time you’ve gotten your drinks and food you’ll be a hangry mess– the food is worth the wait though so just make sure you come when you’re border line hungry :)

We ordered the Bower Burger and the Chilli cheese Burger each with curly fries. Could have been warmer when they came out. Also way too much onion and not enough salad. Curly fries were great though. Red Shiraz was nice and the mojito quite refreshing. Service was ok. Nice sunny area upstairs to sit, with nice beach views. Would be interested to try some other menu items. We had ‘our deal’ vouchers to use here so only had the burgers and chips. A lot of customers seemed to be redeeming vouchers. Maybe night time would be a bette vibe. Wasn’t anything spectacular at lunch time.

Went with 3 other friends for Saturday lunch. The service was decent, and the food came out pretty quickly. We all had their burgers which was delicious. The sizing is decent as well. The cocktails we ordered too were really nice, though not as strong(alcohol wise) as ones I’ve had before(I had the royal mojito). The place has a great view, and a nice Cuban vibe going. I would come back, but may try the other cafés around the beach strip first though!

Cool spot on the corner with plenty of seating upstairs or down. Barrel one roast served. Tried the coffee and banana bread deal for $ 5. Asked for the banana bread toasted but what we were served was a small(microwaved?) piece on a plate with no butter. Coffee looked the part but lacked body and weak finish. Might go back but there are so many options in the area. The special isn’t doing these guys any favors.
