This restaurant is my favorite place in the world. I am fully Australian and this place has the best food that I have every eaten. I highly recommend the main duck dish and the divine entrées. This place is for all ages and it has excellent service and a great atmosphere. Although some of the dishes may be a but pricey but it is all worth it in the end.

Ok so I’m Asian and have been recommended to Sun Luk by my beautiful Aussie friend … So I have to admit I was a little sceptical! Turns out she was right — food was really tasty, the dishes have been slightly Australianised ;) but the meal was excellent! My friend raved about the honey prawns and rainbow beef — they were both good dishes! Generous sized portions and the service was attentive. A nice family atmosphere and the night we dined the restaurant was busy. Since then I have been back in a large group of 20 with the girls and they offer a set menu for $ 35 which was served quickly without fuss in the upstairs room which impressed me. Fellow Asians may question the $ as it is a little more than we are used to paying but I say for the location — its one of the best Chinese in the area. I’d recommend you go and try for yourself … they do have a website you can look at first to see what they offer.

Excellent food, excellent service. Consistently good. My wife only comes for the honey prawns, again and again and again. Family restaurant, friendly atmosphere. Popular with locals. Can be busy at weekends, so make a booking. Take out service available.

OK I must admit it I am of Chinese background however I do occasionally like the more Skippy(Aussie) Chinese dishes as a bit of a treat. You know, lemon chicken, honey prawns, fried dim sims(Sorry Melbournians), vegemite spring rolls, other random crap that you would never hear of in Hong Kong for example. Came here on a friend’s recommendation and was very pleasantly surprised. Had honey prawns, rainbow beef as well as mixed chinese veg and fried ice cream.(Yes, I know, I know. I just *HAD* to … when in AustralianChineseRome…) It seems like a family run restaurant and this comes across in the demeanor of the staff — casual, relaxed and very friendly. I can recommended. :)
