The property was then sold in August 2006. At the same time the motel next door, El Toro, was purchased and by December 2006 had been completely renovated and refurbished giving the Coral Cay Resort an extra 23 suite’s all with decors matched to the existing accommodation. With a total of 63 quality suites this made the Coral Cay Resort the second largest accommodation provider in Mackay.
