Bump and Grind has an outlet in Fortitude Valley, but this one in Lutwyche is a oasis of food in a desert of options for Lutwyche diners.
The coffee here is well-​extracted, but that’s not really the reason I go here. It’s for the smoked chicken wings and ribs.
Generally the wings and ribs run on a Wednesday, and they are not to be missed. You get six wings and blue cheese dipping sauce for about 10 clams. And if you want to really treat yourself, you can get a Ribs and Wings plate which has a variety of slow cooked smoked offerings and some salady stuff that is really there to make you feel OK about eating delicious meaty smokey deliciousness.
The smoked items are smothered in authentic rubs and sauces and they are damn tasty. Be sure to get in quick though: the Ladbrokes crew have a direct line of communication with Dave the owner, and get the jump on the smoked offerings.
