You’ve got to walk the talk, especially with a name like that. Golden; the highest metal as Platinum don’t even exist in the Chinese culture back then. Dragon; everyone wants to be born in the year of a Dragon, Chinese star sign, the greatest animal in comparison to others, although it doesn’t exist. Palace; big, luxury, place for kings and nobles. I have to agree that the artifacts inside are just extraordinary, carved woods, glass etched, etc. At the beginning the dining chair was huge, heavy, bulky and gives you that feeling of importance, now they have been changed to a more practical dining chairs. Standard Hong Kong style service. Sadly, the food are ordinary and average, whether be Yumcha or Dinner. They need to do something about it or change name perhaps.

Amazing dumplings!!! I love the yum cha it is a great way to eat. You get to try a bit of everything. Anything with prawns is great and the strawberry pancake is a good finish to the meal. I recommend trying every dish as I don’t have a favorite

Great place for Yum cha /dim sum. There are three sittings on Saturday and Sunday, make sure you ring and book! Yum Cha Sessions 11:00−12:15 12:20−13:20 13:30−15:00 Was here for Yumcha on a Sunday morning so basing my review on that. Food is fresh and hot. Trolley service to table and every server was bilingual. Some dishes found here are difficult to find in other restaurants. The chicken feet were really good(and I usually don’t like them!) Great value too! My second visit for yum cha and won’t be my last. $ 2 charge per person for tea, no charge for chilli sauce.
