This large pub attracts a good mix of friendly regulars.
I have only been in here once, for a swift schooner when my partner and I were staying in the area (being based in the city in Adelaide we love a bit of a getaway to the nearby Hills).
I asked for a West End draught for my partner and a Cooper’s pale ale for me but when I got the pale ale I remarked it was bit too cloudy and the barmaid said that was how it always was. I have had pale ale many times before and I found it was too near the barrel for me. The barmaid changed the barrel soon after. My partner, however, loves it when it gets to that stage, so we swapped beers and both left happy.
MEALS
The pub is also open for lunch and dinner but my partner and I did not sample any of the food.
GAMING ROOM
Pokie machine fans will be pleased to know there is a gaming room in this hotel.
