Enjoyed this place! Not sure how the prices compare to other restaurants in the area, but $ 12 for a super-large bowl of noodles is great value. They have also got a few things quite right: — The soup is super-hot, as it needs to be to cook the rare beef. — The beef is rare, so you can cook it to your taste(I like mine still pretty rare) — There was a reasonable amount of meat in the bowl — maybe not like eating at your typical Vietnamese family meal, but hey we’re at a restaurant — The array of beef parts was all there — rare beef(rump or scotch fillet), beef brisket, beef tendon balls, beef tendons, beef tripe. Would probably prefer it if fatty beef was also there. — The bean sprouts and Vietnamese basil was fresh, sufficient, and are mainly budding(the buds are the most fragrant part of the herb) — The soup was quite full of taste. Personally I think Phở An’s soup is slightly more to my taste(more herby), but I’m aware that there are two main styles of making beef stock. All in all, I’ll go back. Worth the money, the visit and some more. Not much to pick on at all.

Best dinner option in the area. I stop by often. Lovely staff. Restaurant is almost always busy.

Solid place! Come here frequently. Fast service. Wait until your whole party is here before coming in — they don’t like it when you take up space. Plenty of MSG in the food though.

A nice place to have a meal in Lidcombe. I’ll be back again.
